Join us on June 18 for an evening of literary and historical reflection at the presentation of Dichtung der Verdammten, a long-lost anthology of Ukrainian neoclassical poetry. Compiled in 1947 by Oswald Burghardt (Jurij Klen), this collection gives voice to a generation of poets silenced during Stalin's Great Terror. These poets include Mykola Zerov, Maksym Rylskyj, and Pavlo Fylypovyč.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Deutsches Kulturforum östliches Europa and Arco Verlag, the editorial duo of Nataliia Kotenko-Vusatiuk and Andrii Portnov will present this issue, which is now available in both Ukrainian and German.
The event is organised by Deutsches Kulturforum östliches Europa together with the Institute for Slavic and Hungarian Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin and Prisma Ukraïna.
