Prisma Ukraïna Fellow 2020/21 Bohdan Tokarsky just published an article on Ukrainian poet and dissident Vasyl Stus on the website Los Angeles Review of Books. Stus spent a long time in Soviet prisons and labor camps in isolation. His experience can teach us how to deal with this challenging situation. He also managed to write his major poetic work, a collection called Pamplimsests, in prison.
